Tips For Tenants

• Always keep you landlord informed if there is a problem, if you are unable to pay any or all of your rent or you will be out of town for a period of time.
• Keep the rental unit in the same or better condition as when you moved in. This will increase the possibility of getting some or all of you deposit back. It will also increase the possibility of getting a good rental history report from your landlord.
• When vacating a rental, make sure you follow any move-out instructions for cleaning and utility shut-off.
• If the rental unit is on a septic system, DO NOT FLUSH ITEMS SUCH AS: paper towels, sanitary items, wash cloths, diapers etc.
